Mrs. Farida Yeasmin was born in 1985 in the district of Netrokona. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Bangladesh Agricultural University and later earned a Master of Sustainability from the University of Sydney, Australia, under the prestigious Australia Awards Scholarship.

Mrs. Farida joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) Cadre in 2012 as part of the 30th batch. She began her professional journey as an Assistant Secretary in the Sunamganj District Administration. From 2012 to 2022, she served in various key administrative positions, including Assistant Commissioner (Land), Senior Assistant Secretary at the Divisional Commissioner’s Office in Mymensingh, Upazila Nirbahi Officer at Jamalpur Sadar Upazila, and Additional Deputy Commissioner at Sherpur District.

Before joining the Power Division in October 2025, Mrs. Farida served as Senior Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock. Throughout her career, she has participated in several professional training programs both at home and abroad, strengthening her expertise in public administration and governance.

She is married and blessed with one daughter.
