Asma Nasrin joined the Power Division as Deputy Secretary on 05 November 2024. Prior to this appointment she was a Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture.
Asma Nasrin joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre in 2005 and belongs to the 24th batch. She started her career as Assistant Chief in Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and worked there till January 2010. Then she was transferred to Ministry of Education.
Ms Nasrin earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Botany from Rajshahi University.
Ms Nasrin is from Natore Sadar of Natore District. He is married and blessed with one son and one daughter.
She became a director of the Company on 12 November 2024.
